Foul Weather Friends

This city has seen more rain this year than I can remember, and we are not alone. Rainboots have often been my best foul-weather friends. There was a time when rainboots meant fisherman wellies or duck boots and carrying an extra pair of shoes for the switcheroo upon reaching the indoor destination. Well, not anymore! It's that time of year again, the child-lings are going back to school. Sad for them; fantastic for parents!
