Earth Day Favourites and a Giveaway!

There is no greater brand than "New York City" to this girl!  Envirosax is still the best eco-tote around in my opinion for many reasons, and it just got better.

 Priti's Soy Nail Polish Remover is a true game-changer.  This product is probably one of my all-time favourites, and if you've been to Therapie, you know how many products we carry.  This is 100% biodegradable, non-toxic and not carcinogenic.  It is derived from farm crops and does not contain any petroleum ingredients.  I can actually say that I love the smell of this remover, which is from the lemongrass essential oils.  Most importantly, it removes nail polish as effectively as anything in the market.

Grow your own herbs year-round and in your apartment!  The Organic Basil Bamboo Pots are not just simple, but they look great.  The bamboo grow pot is stronger than maple and completely handmade from all-natural materials.  It's also leak proof with the lacquered lid doubling as an elegant drainage saucer.  Certified organic.

Holiday Homestretch

I can't believe we have one remaining weekend before Christmas!  During this manic time, I always hope to be able to step back and enjoy the magic of the season and indulge myself in all the childhood nostalgia that Christmas brings.  We have another 10 days to sing along to our favourite carols; to feel entitled to gorge on copious amounts of sugar with abandon; to find crazy downpours of snow in the city enchanting; to have pictures taken in front of large trees, and most importantly, to GIVE.  It's cheesy and oh yeah, I love it!

 

Enduring the first snowstorms of the Winter, NYC has been freezing!  We're still better off than other parts of the country.  We know how to make warm and cosy look cute!

Back to School in Style!

 I hope everyone's Summer has been as much fun as mine!  Unfortunately, good times and frivolous distraction has led to the neglect of my beloved blog, but I have every intention of making up for it!  After an intense and concentrated binge of buying, I am so excited for the upcoming Fall/Holiday season and all the fabulous, fun things to come to Thérapie!  There is also an exciting, new project in the works at the Columbus Avenue store which will be revealed in the next month...all I will say right now, is that it is what I've always wanted!  Let's just say, it will provide some extra special Thérapie.

Haute Notes - Christian Lacroix Papier

I am one who will always need to write things down rather than type into a PDA.  I carry a pad everywhere I go, and notebooks don't get more mind-blowing than this for me.  Parisian couturier, Christian Lacroix has a line of notebooks featuring his amazing artwork.  Truly a feast for the eyes, ever think you could own a lavish haute couture Lacroix sketch?  These journals inspire me to pen masterpieces worthy of being in such impossibly chic vessels.  This is a place where you want to keep thoughts forever.

Giving Laughter
