First Signs of Fall

I hope everyone had a fabulous Labor Day weekend!  I am absolutely loving the chilly nip in the air this week - Time for my favourite season!  I am probably the only person who is not sad to see the end of Summer (especially this last one), but I practically lived my whole life in a sauna in Asia, so I welcome the dry, snuggly, comfy, cool with wide, open arms!  

Ofcourse, my love for this season is very much attached to my obsession for accessories, well, apple desserts too.  Unfortunately, we don't have pies, but the fabulous bags of Fall are boldly making their first appearance known at Thérapie!

The Daisy Bag - One of my favourites and completely versatile.  This bag can be used 3 different ways!  Made of faux suede and pewter hardware, this bag comes with a detatchable, double-chain shoulder-strap and an additional longer cross-body strap for conversion into a messenger bag.  Interior has a zip pocket and this also comes in Black.  At $89.95, you can't beat the price!

Her Latest Trick - Simply gorgeous, soft and slouchy leather.  Amazing colours and stylishly functional.

Eccentric Heiress - These leather beauties come in the most wonderful selection of colours.  They also double as wallet or clutch.

Bringing Sexy Back!

If this season's fashion is about bringing the sexy, it certainly has been 'brought-ed!'  Black Lace, animal prints, leather, zippers, buckles are making their bold appearance in clothes and accessories.  But nothing symbolizes sensuality like the corset.  Something about that criss-cross architecture designed to control and harness rebellious bodily excess is archaic yet deliciously appealing.  On boots, bags, shoes, belts, you name it, the design is undoubtably hot. Which explains why I was immediately drawn to the exquisite creations of French accessory brand, Estenate.  Let's face it, noone does luxury and sexy like the French.

Estenate, exclusively sold in Therapie in the U.S., is the creation of two talented, young, French designers, Estelle and Renate.  They have 25 years of experience in Haute Couture between them.  Their creations are all 100% hand-made from start to finish out of the most luxurious materials.  I, for one, am in lust with their sumptuous pieces!

Fall on the Wild Side

Bring out your inner-rocker/biker this Fall with leather, studs and lots of zippers!  Fall has to be the most exciting season for the things I love most - Accessories, and they are making their wild appearance at Thérapie!  Garnet, Plum, Cobalt Blue, Cherry, Slate and Green Apple are my favourite of the representing hues this season.  Personally, ready-to-wear has always taken a back seat to a fabulous bag, scarf and jewelry, and the more intricate and embellished the design, the better!
